Porlezza is een pittoresk dorp in Italië net voorbij de Zwitserse grens in de regio Lombardije direct aan het idyllische meer van Lugano. Waar je ook kijkt je geniet van een schitterend panorama.

Wandel over de boulevard met ruime keuze aan restaurantjes en terrasjes en natuurlijk Italiaanse ijssalons. Neus even rond bij de verschillende lokale winkeltjes of struin op zaterdag langs de vele kramen op de lokale markt, en dit alles op ongeveer een kilometer lopen van de camping. Volop watersport mogelijkheden, en schitterende wandel en fietsroutes wel of niet met een klim de bergen in, of richting de verfrissende waterval van Porlezza.
